Process Post~January 30th, 2013
I committed to finishing this quilt for the January Lovely Year of Finishes and although I have been sick and in bed for this week and down with my back the previous week, I am determined to meet this deadline!
I completed this top tonight!! And pieced the backing too!
Tomorrow I will quilt and bind it!
I also began this applique project from Fons and Porter while stuck in bed:
Except, I am using different fabrics......

Wow! I'm impressed if you can quilt and bind that quilt in just one day! It would take me several days at least. Just make sure you don't send yourself back to the sick bed! The applique project is gorgeous. I'd really like to get back to some hand applique myself, but need to finish up a couple of other things first. Glad you're on the mend!
Thanks, Dee!! The only way I can quilt and bind this in one day is by quilting it on the frame :) And I don't do any hand applique....it's all fusible, machine applique!
