Kyle is learning expository writing. He outlined his very first paragraph today and tomorrow he is writing it...!!!! I dont know why but this is hitting me hard! My baby is writing his first paragraph!

I CANNOT WAIT! We are looking at one in Texas right now that lasts for 5 days! I am SO excited....
speaking of quilting...heres a little update for you. The last few days I have been feeling kind of "blah". I have spent so much time looking at quilting stuff that I have not sewn much at all...so...tonight I got on the ball and finished catching up my last 2 Cafe Mom BOM blocks. I also did one (yes, just one) 9 patch for Crazy Mom Quilts One a Day quilt along. Tomorrow I am planning on getting week 3 and 4 done in my 12 week quilt along. Here are my blocks from today...

Here is a bird I was able to watch today. He is so beautiful! His mate was there but left before I was able to get the camera.

Thanks for visiting my blog and giving me a chance to look at yours. I love your pictures. The blocks look great. But, of course, I especially love Trouble on the stash. Did you know that one of my four kitty siblings is also named Trouble? Some days she's an excellent quality control specialist, and other days she lives up to her name.
