Hello :)
Today was nice. Kyle and I went to the park and did school there.
This week he is reading (almost completely on his own) 'Johnny Appleseed'...it's a Railroad version for beginning readers, but he is still doing AWESOME!
He also learned how to spell and read the word "what" today.
We had a spelling test for words from last week--he got 100% on that. :o)
We are also talking about weather this week. His Science curriculum is called "God's World". So it teaches them God's plan for different things. Next week is seasons. Pretty basic stuff, but important to review.
This week Kyle starts subtraction. He is so excited.....he wanted to start today but we are starting tomorrow. He's really siked about that!
We had a great time at the park...we had a picnic lunch and stayed there for about 3 hours or so. I got lesson plans done for the next two weeks and Kyle met a friend and played. There was also this HUGE ditch (dry, of course) that we rolled the ball in about a hundred times, lol.
I've never been to this park--didn't even know it was there! It's like hidden behind this uppity neighborhood and I really like it! There are about 6 or 8 softball/baseball fields there too...so you know I am SO there come game time!!!!
Well, tomorrow we are going to Ahma's. We will be staying the night there and coming home Wednesday.
Love you!
Lisa
